Nice Collection

The Shemale DVD Club has 44 full-length DVDs right now, which doesn’t seem like too much. But consider that each DVD has four or five scenes which last about 30 minutes. This means you are getting almost 200 different videos to watch. I was really impressed with the nice variety of shemale movies offered. There are sexy Thai ladyboys, trannies fucking trannies, shemales screwing men (and visa versa), teens, and more. The only niche of shemales that was really lacking was ebony. I only found a few DVDs with black models. Otherwise, you are getting a great selection of movies to choose from.

Many Video Formats

Shemale DVD Club is part of the HD Movie Club. As you’d expect from the name, you are going to get great quality videos. The DVDs aren’t in a true high definition quality, but they still look really nice in the Hi-Res DVD download which is available in WMV format at a resolution of 720x480 at 2500 Kbps. You can also download the DVDs in MPEG in 480x360 at 1100 and iPod format in 320x240 at 600. Streaming is in WMV at 300 Kbps or 800 Kbps.

Bonus Sites

When you become a member of the Shemale DVD Club, you also get access to the entire HD Movie Club. There are 20 sites which make up this network and amount to 3146 videos. Each site is devoted to a different niche of porn DVDs, like gonzo, anal, teen or fetish. All of the network sites are set up the same so you can expect the same good quality videos throughout. One of the really exciting points is that the network posts 3 full-length DVD updates every day. There is even a little counter in the upper right-hand screen to tell you when the next new release will be.

Other Perks

None of the videos have DRM protection. This means that you can freely burn the videos and make your own DVD collection. There are also some good navigation features like sorting videos by Top Rated or Top Picks.

Irregular Updates

The HD Movie Club has three updates daily, but there is no schedule for when Shemale DVD Club will get a new release. There were actually multiple daily updates for a while and then they completely stopped. The last update was in September 2009. Since the site goes back to 2007, there is a chance that you have already seen these movies before.

Site Navigation Needs Improvement

There are some decent search options at Shemale DVD Club but they can be difficult to find if this is your first time at the site. At first, it will seem like you can only browse through the DVDs by box cover or look at the Top Picks. If you click on a title, then you get taken to a second page which has the model and studio name. Click on these, and you will get a list of DVDs from that studio/model. This system isn’t helpful if you are looking for a certain shemale porn star. There isn’t even any way to search by DVD title.
